Savanna excels at multitasking balancing college while caring for her three dogs with diverse needs: a Rottweiler/Mastiff mix, an American Mastiff, and a Shih Tzu/Jack Russell mix. Her experiences have shaped her goals, including pursuing a degree in Animal Studies and Equine Management. At Mason Dixon K9, Savanna gains hands-on knowledge of animal behavior, working with dogs, sheep, and chickens on the 50+ acre farm—an ideal environment for her studies. “Working with so many breeds on a sprawling farm is a dream come true! All the animals are happy and love their stay,” she shares.

Outside of MDK9, Savanna dedicates her time to rescuing kittens, riding horses, writing her novel, and playing Division III soccer at college—a testament to her drive and passion for animals and academic excellence.
