Courtney’s lifelong love for dogs and unwavering dedication to their care shine through in her role at Mason Dixon K9. With five dogs of her own—four being foster fails, and one adopted from the Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue – MAGSR—she has a deep appreciation for the unique personalities of every dog she encounters. A former CNA, Courtney brings a strong work ethic and compassionate nature to her work, always ensuring each dog feels safe, loved, and supported.
One of Courtney’s proudest achievements is rehabilitating special needs dogs and helping nervous or anxious pups find their way into playgroups. She’s also a committed foster with Double Dog Dare Rescue, having helped her family foster and adopt out over 300 dogs, many of whom had never experienced the comforts of a loving home. For Courtney, Mason Dixon K9 is a dream come true, where she can continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of dogs while working alongside a team that treats every pup as family. When she’s not caring for the dogs at MDK9, Courtney enjoys spending time with her own pets, fostering, and supporting her mission to give every dog a chance at happiness.
