After earning her degree in psychology, Cassie spent nearly two decades in healthcare before expanding her focus to a lifelong passion: helping and connecting with others. Following the loss of their beloved Labrador, Cassie’s family began fostering as a way to heal, eventually welcoming over 70 dogs in need while raising their own two dogs, Hendrix from MAGSR and Joplin, a “foster fail” from Double Dog Dare Rescue.

At Mason Dixon K9, Cassie plays a key role managing social media, highlighting the organization’s remarkable work and mission. When not fostering or supporting Mason Dixon K9, she enjoys quality time with her family and outdoor adventures like camping and kayaking. Cassie’s compassion and dedication make her an invaluable member of the Mason Dixon K9 team.
